The International Center for Arid and Semiarid Lands Studies (ICASALS) is excited to host its first international collaborative research workshop in partnership with the University of Campinas (UNICAMP). Titled “Water – Essential for Life,” this workshop will focus on critical water-related challenges faced in both Brazil and Texas.

The event aims to showcase current research from experts at UNICAMP and Texas Tech University (TTU), while fostering opportunities for collaborative research among participants.
The workshop will be held virtually, with in-person attendance available exclusively at two locations: the International Cultural Center at TTU and at UNICAMP. Please note that the workshop will not be accessible outside of these two venues.
