Lubbock Live is a music and arts festival that is a 501(c)(3) Tax Exempt Non-Profit Organization. The event will be held on August 28th at the LHUCA from 10am-11pm and will have music all day, dance, art, food trucks and local vendors. The CASP Live/Work Studios will be throwing a block party and Two Docs Brewing Co. will have food trucks, games, and music as well! Tickets to the event are $15 for adults and $5 for 10 and under. Proceeds from the event after event costs are donated to a different local arts program each year with this year’s beneficiary being the LISD Fine Arts Department.
Mission
The purpose of Lubbock Live Festival For The Arts is to give back to the local arts community. Our goal is to gather the local artists that make our city great in one place to show the citizens of Lubbock just how much art is available in our community. Our mission is to raise awareness for Lubbock citizens who may have been uninformed about the wonderful art happening all around us, while simultaneously giving back to and supporting these artists and ultimately, our city.
Vision
Our goal is to have this festival become an annual event that showcases the art in Lubbock that people look forward to each year. We want to be able to give generously each year to different local arts organizations.
Impact
