Visions 3: Michael Bierut
The DJ Stout Distinguished Speaker Series

Michael Bierut is an American graphic designer and partner at the prestigious design firm Pentagram. As one of the most influential figures in the design industry, his extensive career encompasses the creation of iconic branding for notable clients such as The New York Times, Mastercard, and Saks Fifth Avenue. He is also the author of *How to* and *79 Short Essays on Design*, and has received numerous prestigious awards, including the AIGA Medal and, most recently, the Royal Designer for Industry (RDI), the UK’s highest design honor.
Landmark Arts exhibitions and speaker programs in the Texas Tech University School of Art are made possible in part with a generous grant from the Still Water Foundation, Austin.
