The Edge will present our first production of the year, The Recovery Play – two mini-plays that allow audiences to participate in the story lines while sharing a few laughs along the way.

The Recovery Play is the outcome of work by members of a class series offered by Recovery on The Edge in which individuals in recovery from trauma or addiction are able to process the impacts of those challenges. The play is Devised Theatre and uses the work of Paulo Freire. Devised Theatre is a technique that allows processing and interaction between performers and the audience to identify solutions to social circumstances. The Recovery Play explores the need for solutions, doing so in a funny and entertaining presentation!
