The Buddy Holly Center is pleased to present “The Lost Weekend: The Photography of May Pang,” a special two-day exhibition in the Fine Arts Gallery on Tuesday, January 26 and Wednesday, January 27, 2027. The exhibition coincides with the digital release of the feature film documentary on Lennon and Pang, “The Lost Weekend: A Love Story.”

Few people knew John Lennon as intimately as May Pang. Pang was Lennon’s lover during the infamous “Lost Weekend,” an 18-month period from late 1973 through 1975. During this highly creative time, Pang took candid photographs of Lennon in a comfortable, relaxed environment. A collection of these private photographs will be on display and available for purchase, offering visitors the opportunity to see John Lennon as May saw him.

May Pang will attend the Fine Arts Gallery at the Buddy Holly Center both days, meeting customers and sharing stories behind these amazing limited-edition photographs of John Lennon.
“The Lost Weekend – The Photography of May Pang” offers fans a rare opportunity to see John Lennon in a new light through the lens of someone who knew him intimately during one of the most creative periods of his life. Pang’s photographs will be on display and available for purchase for two days only.

The Buddy Holly Center will be open from 10 a.m.–7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 26, and regular hours of 10 a.m.–5 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27.

Check out the show and meet May Pang in the Fine Arts Gallery at the Buddy Holly Center, 1801 Crickets Ave., Lubbock, TX, Tuesday, January 26 and Wednesday, January 27, 2027.
