Do you have a passion for the arts? Do you want to make a difference to one of your community arts organizations? Are you interested in helping to shape how the arts impact our community? We invite YOU to join the Flatlands Dance Theatre Advisory Board!

We are looking for 3-4 community members to serve on our advisory board. The purpose of the FDT Advisory Board is to generate energy and ideas from a group of enthusiastic community members who will help FDT reach our artistic and community engagement goals. This group will work alongside the FDT board of directors and company leadership. We anticipate the time commitment being 1-3 hours per month, depending on your area(s) of interest and availability. No experience in dance or the arts is necessary!

You are perfect for the Advisory Board if you have experience or interest in ANY of the following:
· Volunteering at events and productions
· Developing surveys and feedback forms
· Marketing or advertising
· Sharing news through email and social media
· Event planning
· Fundraising
· Audience relations/development
· Merchandise creation and/or sales
· Serving as an ambassador for FDT to let our community know about the company and what we do
