MUSEUM BY NIGHT: An Evening with Ballet Lubbock

Join us for a special Museum by Night experience at the MaTT in partnership with Ballet Lubbock!

• Ballet Lubbock will present excerpts from founder Suzanne Aker’s Carnival of the Animals in an intimate, behind-the-scenes working rehearsal. Guests will have the unique opportunity to watch the dancers as they rehearse, followed by plenty of time for questions and conversation with Ballet Lubbock’s directors and dancers.

• Following the rehearsal, the experience moves from watching to dancing! Guests will be invited to participate in a beginner ballet class in the museum lobby, where they’ll learn excerpts from the pieces they just watched and experience a little bit of the joy of ballet for themselves.

• After the class, guests are invited to stay, enjoy refreshments, and mingle with an open bar while taking in the museum and connecting with fellow guests.

• What to Bring: Please wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move in. Socks or ballet slippers are recommended.
