The Hub City Renaissance Faire is a program celebrating art, music, theatrical performances and exciting activities for all ages.

Attendees will experience local and regional visual and performing artists during Hub City Renaissance Faire. Programming will rotate between LHUCA and CASP campuses, giving attendees ample opportunity to explore performances, live demonstrations, and over 30 vendors and food trucks. For those 21 and older, bars will serving beer, sangria and local Lubbock favorites.

Come one, come all! Calling all pirates and sirens! Lubbock-Con is teaming up with the LBK Guardians for the Hub City Renaissance Festival a program of LHUCA. We will be located in the Graffiti Building with all kinds of fun for everyone!
The LBK Guardians will have a kids’ storytime, a kids’ dress up area and photo backdrop, LBK Guardians photo ops, and kids and adult cosplay contests sign-ups happening on the main festival stage.

Lubbock-Con will have fun activities and a WANTED POSTER photo op. Every child (12 and under) will receive two free metal gold pirate coins. 13 and up must purchase coins available at the Lubbock-Con table.

Patrons can choose to keep the coins as a souvenir or trade them for each activity and activity upgrades.
1 Coin – Pirate Hat with 4 skulls to choose from courtesy of Nazario Designs
1 Coin – Mermaid Purse
1 Coin – Pirate Hat Upgrade – Add Felt to the Hat.
1 Coin – Mermaid Purse Upgrade – Add a string of pearls.

We will also be raffeling off a family 4 – pack of Lubbock-Con 2025 weekend passes for the price of one gold coin.

Don’t worry if you want to do more than one. As most sailors who didn’t have enough money for their adventures, they would typically ask a king or queen to help fund their journeys. (Or in this case, their parents) By that, we mean that you can purchase more coins at the Lubbock-Con table!

There is so much fun and so much to do, just in this area! So come out and bring your whole crew and dock at our port and get your free Lubbock-Con stickers provided by HubCity Slaps. See you there!
