Margaret Clauder, aka “Patriotic Patty”, has produced a program that will bring forth pride in our great country. The daughter of a WWII army veteran, Margaret (Patty) will delight children with puppets such as Uncle Sam who will not only sing patriotic songs but will teach children about the origins of some of our national symbols. Who was Betsy Ross and why isn’t our flag pink, purple and green instead of red, white and blue? Was Uncle Sam just a newspaper’s cartoon creation or did he have a foundation in real life? Where did the Statue of Liberty come from? In this wonderful children’s program filled with music, ventriloquism and a little magic young audiences will learn all this and more.
