LWC 80th Birthday Party: Girls Just Want to Have Fun!

Do you remember the 80’s? The era of big hair and bright colors; mix tapes with Michael Jackson, Cyndi Lauper, and Madonna; the fitness craze with spandex, leg warmers and Jazzercize; colorful cocktails, potato skins, and quiche; Glamour Shots, Dynasty, and Farrah Fawcett—just to name a few.

Join us for a celebration honoring the 80th birthday of the Lubbock Women’s Club. We’ll re-live this decade with an 80’s themed dance party. There will be fab foods, a signature cocktail (plus a cash bar), live music and disco lights, music trivia, and 80 silent auction bargains.

Dress as your favorite 80s character—whether it be Richard Simmons or Don Johnson, Cyndi Lauper or Linda Evans (or just wear bright colors and shoulder pads). Bring the guys. Bring your friends. Join us for the most rad evening you’ve had in 40 years! Girls just want to have fun!

Tickets available online only. They will NOT be available for purchase at the door on the day of the event.

Proceeds benefit the Lubbock Women’s Club and the LWC Historical Foundation.
