International Affairs is thrilled to invite you to our annual International Week and Culture Fest! This event is a cornerstone of our community, boasting twenty years of history and recognition from both the US Department of Education and the US Department of State. Celebrated in over 100 countries worldwide, this vibrant week-long event showcases the rich diversity of cultures that make up our campus.
We invite you to immerse yourself in the colorful traditions from across the globe and expand your understanding of the world through this exciting celebration. Monday, October 7th – Saturday, October 12th
International Week has a 20-year history that began as a joint initiative of the US Department of Education and the US Department of State and is now celebrated in more than 100 countries across the globe. International Week allows the community to celebrate many of the cultures that make up our campus and to learn more about the opportunities for greater global literacy.

Study Abroad alumni set to graduate in December 2024, May 2025 and August 2025 are invited to attend the Celebration and collect their study abroad medal to be worn at graduation. Stop by the selfie station, grab a slice of cake, and reminisce about your experience overseas.

Join the Texas Tech Youth Mappers and learn to map current areas of need around the globe! We use Open Street Map: it’s easy to use and quick to learn! These humanitarian mapping efforts help those in need and can count as volunteer hours for other organizations.
YouthMappers is an international network of university-student-led chapters. We organize, collaborate, and implement mapping activities that respond to actual development needs around the globe – creating and using spatial data and information that is made publicly available through open platforms. We share experiences and results while learning, leading, and making a difference in the world. YouthMappers is committed to cultivating a generation of young leaders who will create resilient communities and define their world by mapping it.
