Call for Authors & Vendors

We’re thrilled to announce that applications for the 2026 Lubbock Book Festival are now open! This year’s festival will take place on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the Overton Hotel in Lubbock, TX—and we’d love for you to be a part of it.

Last year’s festival welcomed more than 700 attendees and featured over 70 authors and vendors, creating a vibrant celebration of books, stories, and community. We’re excited to build on that success and bring together an even more dynamic lineup this year.

Who can apply?

Authors: We welcome writers of all genres, from debut authors to seasoned bestsellers.
Vendors: All types of vendors are encouraged to apply. Please note that due to venue restrictions, no outside food or beverage (including items for sale) will be permitted.

Details to know:

Booth/participation fees range from $150–$175.
There is no application deadline, but the planning committee will begin reviewing submissions in mid-October. Early applications are encouraged to secure your spot.
