We are currently accepting submissions for our next art exhibition ‘Dear Mama.’

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: Sun, April 26th at 11:59 PM CST.
Show Dates: May 9th – May 31st
Opening Reception: Saturday, May 9th | 5:00- 7:00pm

This exhibition centers the voices and visions of those who identify as mothers, as well as artists who explore motherhood in their work. We are interested in artwork that reflects the many dimensions of motherhood, its depth, its complexity, its beauty, its burden, its joy, its grief, its transformation, and its legacy.

Submission Guidelines:
Preferably we are accepting submissions from individuals that identify as a mother and/or works about motherhood.
Artists may submit up to 3 original artworks that under 48″ in any direction.
Artworks can be 2-D or 3-D pieces in any media that includes, but is not limited to drawing, ceramics, sculpture, painting, film, photography, paper arts, etc.
Artworks must be ready to display at East Lubbock Art House and prints or artworks on paper must be framed or matted with hanging hardwire on the back of piece.
No unprotected, single sheets of paper will be accepted.
Artworks must be PG-13.

To submit artwork(s) for consideration: please email [email protected] with the subject line “Dear Mama Art Exhibition Submission” and include clear images of your artwork along with the title, size, medium, price (or Not for Sale), and a sentence description about the piece.
