Calling all Black, Indigenous, and People of Color artists.

The Black & Brown Art Market is back for its 4th year, and we’re looking for amazing artists to showcase their work! This event is a celebration of BIPOC artistry in Lubbock, and we want to provide a platform for you to share your talent with the community.

Here’s what you need to know:

Who can apply: Black, Indigenous, and People of Color artists who create original works of affordable art.
What’s happening: Artwork displays, food truck, free books, and activities for all ages!
When: Saturday, February 24th, 2024, from 12pm to 7pm
Where: East Lubbock Art House, 405 MLK Jr Blvd
Deadline to apply: February 11th at 11:59 PM

We’re looking for art in all kinds of mediums, including:

* Jewelry
* Paintings (smaller canvases encouraged)
* Stickers
* Prints
* Sculptures (smaller pieces preferred)
* Candles
* Bookmarks
* Soap
* Desserts
* Magnets
* Clothes
* Fiber art
* Pins

Important things to remember:

This is a “pop-up” market style event, so you don’t have to be present the entire time.
We take a 30% commission on all art sales to cover costs.
You can choose a “pay-what-you-can” commission instead, just let us know.
Price your artwork accordingly.
