CALL FOR ARTISTS
Affordable Art Sale @ LHUCA  

Calling artists to submit artwork samples for a one-day art sale at LHUCA just in time for the Holidays! This sale helps educate the public that buying art from local artist is accessible and affordable. All works must be price $400 and under. Last year, we sold over $10,000 of local art at the Affordable Art Sale!

No entry or booth fee. LHUCA retains a 30% commission of sales.

Accepting artists working in: painting, drawing, prints, mixed media, metals, collage, photography, ceramics, books, textiles, jewelry, wood, sculpture

• Entry deadline: October 28, 2024
• Notification date: November 4, 2024, artists will be notified via email.
• Artists Install: Tuesday, November 26, from 12- 4 p.m. / Wednesday, November 27 from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.
• Art Sale: Saturday, November 30, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• Takedown: Saturday, November 25 at 3 p.m.

Artist or representative are responsible for:

• Setting up and taking down their own work
• Must be present during sale
• Inventory sheets (inventory sheets provided to LHUCA before sale starts, no later than Saturday at 8:30 a.m.)

LHUCA will provide:

• Sale marketing and promotion
• Hardware to hang work on the walls
• 8- foot table with black tablecloth and 2 chairs if requested
• Inventory sheets (to be filled out by artist)
• Check out and wrapping station
• All sales will be processed through LHUCA, artists will be provided a check from LHUCA for 70% of sales on December 4, 2024.
• LHUCA collects and pays the state sales tax, artist is not required to have a tax ID number
