Submit your artwork for consideration for a Solo Art Exhibition at East Lubbock Art House in 2026. Selected artists receive a 1-month art show and $300. Super easy to apply!

Requirements:
Must be 18+
Must be based in Lubbock, Texas
Must be able to transport your artwork to and from ELAH

HOW TO COMPLETE YOUR APPLICATION FOR CONSIDERATION:
Please email [email protected] with the subject line “ELAH SOLO ART EXHIBITION 2026”.
**Include in the email:**
• 8-10 images of the proposed artwork you want to display (this can, but doesn’t have to be the artwork you display in your exhibition– we just want to see some of your art).
• A show statement or artist statement including your title of your proposed art show (1 page in length).
• A description of a proposed community engagement project you will host as a part of your showcase. This can be an artist talk, art class, volunteer event, etc– just some sort of free event that is open to the public that you will host.
• Resume or CV

Other details
Special consideration is given to artists who are BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIA+, emerging, young/older, artists living/working on the Eastern portion of Lubbock or artists from historically marginalized backgrounds.

We are open to artists working in all media (painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media— the sky’s the limit, get creative)

ELAH takes a 30% commission on all art sales within our space.

The artwork submitted and displayed must be handmade and original.

Artwork must be PG-13.

Artwork must be able to be display for the duration of the dates agree upon at a later date to receive the full stipend.
