2026 Cultural Arts Grant Program

Civic Lubbock is currently taking applications for the 2026 Cultural Arts Grant Program. If you are associated with a Lubbock non-profit organization (501(c)3 or government equivalent) and are planning a cultural/arts event between Sept 1 of 2026 and Aug 31 of 2027, please visit our website for more details. First time applicants are required to attend a Grant Workshop scheduled for April 27, 2026 at 4pm at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.

About the Cultural Arts Grant Program

The City of Lubbock’s Cultural Arts Grant Program, as administered by Civic Lubbock, Inc., provides local cultural organizations with financial support for projects that promote tourism and the arts and humanities in Lubbock.

Funding for the Cultural Arts Grant Program comes from Hotel Occupancy Tax (HOT) that is collected from local hotels, motels, and bed and breakfast inns. The revenues from Hotel Occupancy Tax can only be used for certain expenditures as outlined by the State of Texas Tax Code 351.101
