The Lubbock Chorale is holding auditions on January 13, and we’d love for you to join us for an exciting upcoming season!

This year, we’re thrilled to be performing Brahms’ Requiem in collaboration with the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra, as well as bringing back a longtime favorite themed concert featuring American Folk Songs.

If you enjoy making music at a high level in a welcoming, passionate community of singers, we encourage you to audition.

DATES OF COMMITTMENT
Tuesday evening rehearsals from 7:30-9:00pm beginning January 14 through May 5. There will be no rehearsal on the Tuesday of Spring break.
Concert: February 28, 2026 | Brahm’s Requiem with LSO | Buddy Holly Hall | 7:30pm (call time typically an hour prior)
Concert: May 9 | American Folk Songs | Hemmle Recital Hall | 7:30pm (call time typically an hour prior)
Dress Rehearsals: TBD, typically scheduled Thurs and/or Friday evenings before concert date; additional rehearsals with the orchestra may be requested the morning or afternoon of concert day.

FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS
Membership dues are $50 per semester (fall and spring) for all members. An additional $25 community member fee is applied each semester for non-TTU employees and students. Registration opens approximately two weeks before the first rehearsal in August and January.
If, at any point, you have financial concerns preventing you from participating with The Lubbock Chorale, please do not hesitate to talk to Dr. Alan Zabriskie about your situation. We will find a way to make it work for you!
