Are you someone who enjoys singing? Do you find joy and fulfillment when your voice is used to create beautiful melodies and harmonies with others? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We warmly invite you to come and join The Lubbock Chorale.

Whether you’re a seasoned vocalist or an beginning just finding your voice, we’d love to welcome you into our community. The chorale is a community-based ensemble of more than 100 voices from all walks of life. Don’t hesitate, come be a part of our singing group!

Our fall season includes two performances at the Buddy Holly Hall. We’re kicking off with Beethoven Strikes Again, a delightful treat including Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy, on September 19. Then, get ready for a heavenly experience with Handel’s Messiah, in collaboration with Lubbock Christian University on December 7.

The Lubbock Chorale Auditions 2024-2025
The Lubbock Chorale is looking for the best vocal talent from the South Plains area for our 2024-2025 season!

The chorale is a community-based ensemble of more than 100 voices from all walks of life. People interested in singing with the Chorale should have some experience singing in choral ensembles, such as high school, college, or church choirs. Singers should be able to read music. We warmly welcome inquiries about becoming a singing member of The Lubbock Chorale!

Auditions for the Fall 2024 season will be held on June 11 and August 20 at the TTU School of Music. Auditions for the Chorale consist of a brief solo that the applicant prepares and performs (pianist provided) and that best shows the natural qualities of one’s voice; vocalization (guided).

The total cost for TLC membership is $75 per semester. Online registration opens one week before rehearsals begin each semester.
