“Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde,” by Jeffery Hatcher and directed by Mickie Klafka, will be held at CATS on August 21-22 from 2:00-4:00. Roles are available for 5 men and 2 women and 2 roles that can be played by either. Performance dates are October 8-9, 15-16, and 22-23.

The story: On the fog-bound streets of Victorian-era London, Henry Jekyll’s experiments with exotic “powders and tinctures” have brought forth his other self—Edward Hyde, a sensualist and villain free to commit the sins Jekyll is too civilized to comprehend. When Hyde meets a woman who stirs his interest, Jekyll fears for her life and decides to end his experiments. But Hyde has other ideas, so the two sides battle each other in a deadly cat-and-mouse game to determine who shall be the master and who his slave is.
