Recently, there came a very kind and special offer from the people over at Texas Tech who have invited me to donate some of my papers and legacy items to their new “Andy Eppler Collection” in the archives at the university. It’s a really meaningful honor and I think a party is in order.

Come celebrate with me for two nights at the Nashwell Cafe in Lubbock where I’ll show some of the things I’ll be donating to the archive as well as my more recent digital and watercolor artworks on canvas.

I’ll be showing a collection of my short films including my brand new film “Denver International”, which is a black and white peace filmed at the airport while I waited for my flight.

This is also the week I will be releasing my new musical collection “Lonely Disco: lust letters to my friends”. I’ll be excited to share that with everyone while we chat and hug and finally get to see each other.

We will be really lucky to have live music both nights. The first night we will be hearing music from my long time friend Phlip Coggins, who is always an essential element in any Lubbock art show. That second night is going to be a little bit more surprising. I will be performing by myself but I will also be having some special guests and I don’t think that’s the kind of thing you’re going to want to miss out on.

A new collection of dresses and other fashion related items based on the artwork will become available for this show as well. You’ll be able to find a painting you like and then buy yourself something like a sexy dress, or a summer skirt inspired by that art.

Paintings, films, music, fashion, mirth, drinks, food, an excuse to dress up… Who could ask for anything more?

I’ve got some special surprise art pieces for this and I genuinely can’t wait to show you.
