The Texas Tech Alumni Association invites you to attend our 63rd annual A Matador Evening celebration. Join fellow Red Raiders and supporters of Texas Tech University for a reception at 6:30 p.m. with dinner and ceremony immediately following at 7 p.m.

This year, we will recognize George ’66 & Linda ’66 McMahan with the Lauro F. Cavazos Award. Martha Brown ’75, ’79 and Telea Stafford Jackson ’94 will receive the Distinguished Service Award. Hector Lopez, a senior in the Huckabee College of Architecture, will receive the Brent Ross Fearless Champion Award. You can learn more about the 2024 honorees here.

Pricing for the event is $1,000 for a table of 8 or $100 for individual tickets. Tables and tickets can be purchased through Oct. 9 by clicking the registration button at the top of the page.
