International Cultural Center

The International Cultural Center (ICC) is a multi-use facility that provides a continual series of conferences, lectures and performances. The magnificent Hall of Nations Room holds 190 flags from nations around the world.

Hemmle Recital Hall

Hemmle Recital Hall is the primary performance space of the Texas Tech University School of Music. Dedicated in 1977 and renamed in 1979 after Dr. Gene Hemmle, chairman of the Music Department from 1949-1973, the 541-seat hall is home to over 200 concerts and recitals throughout the year.

Charles E. Maedgen Jr. Theatre

The Maedgen Mainstage Theatre is located on the east end of the Charles E. Maedgen Jr. Theatre building. This 400 seat proscenium theatre opened in 1964 and has hosted over 170 University Theatre productions and many theatrical competitions. In 1998 the theatre was updated by the installation of a state-of-the-art lighting system, and in 2002 renovation was completed on a new bright and inviting lobby.

Allen Theatre

The Allen Theatre has served as the premiere performance space for Texas Tech since its opening and continues to play host to a large number of events. More than 10,000 performances have taken place in the facility. The theatre operates year-round and offers a charming space to present performances such as concerts, dance performances, movies and plays. It is an excellent venue for lectures and multimedia presentations.

Lubbock Memorial Civic Center

This 300,000 square foot facility is exible enough to accommodate large events or small-specialized gatherings. The structural layout and architectural design of the facility combine beauty and versatility making it a convenient and impressive accommodation for any event, be it a meeting, trade show, concert or convention.

Lubbock Arts Alliance

The Lubbock Arts Alliance is your arts council. It is a non-profit organization working to ensure that Lubbock has a vibrant, growing art scene that remains accessible to every member of the community. The mission of the Lubbock Arts Alliance is to foster the creation, understanding and enjoyment of the arts.

Civic Lubbock

Civic Lubbock is the governmental arts agency. All of its Board Members are appointed by the Lubbock City Council. The organization serves in an advisory capacity to the municipally owned Buddy Holly Center and Silent Wings Museum. Civic Lubbock administers grant programs, acquires public art, co-sponsors special events, and has oversight of the West Texas Walk of Fame/Terrace Inductions.

Moonlight Musicals Amphitheater

Lubbock Moonlight Musicals is pleased to be able to provide the Lubbock area with extremely diverse artistic offerings. From the immense Moonlight Broadway productions to Moonlight Musicals outdoor creations to the innovative youth-oriented shows produced by Moonlight Directions, every effort is given to create something enjoyable for all theatregoers. Beyond shows, Lubbock Moonlight Musicals also provides an educational opportunity via the Moonlight Arts Academy with programs focusing on a vast assortment of artistic disciplines. Another outreach program experiencing significant growth is our audition-only performance ensemble, Moonlight Directions, comprised of area high-school students who wish to increase their talents in every aspect of performing.
