Join LHUCA’s acting instructor, Kinna McInroe, in the Firehouse Theatre this summer for Teen Acting Through Improvisation Camp! Campers will learn about basic acting terms and techniques including:
- space work
- the fourth wall
- stage picture
- fine tuning impulses in scene work
- working as a team to create a scene
- organically creating characters
- listening and reacting
Each day will have a unique focus for teens to explore acting principals through exercises, games, and scene work culminating in a fun showcase on the last day of camp! Teen Acting through Improvisation camp is July 15-19 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. Teens will check-in and out in LHUCA’s Firehouse Theatre. LHUCA’s teen camps are for ages 13-17.
Teens should wear movement clothes and closed toed shoes. Teens are welcome to bring snacks and drinks that do not require refrigeration.
