The 5×7 Art Dash is Back!

What is the 5×7 Art Bash? The last 5×7 Art Bash was held back in 2019, before COVID. Medici Circle is delighted to bring this event back.

The 5×7 Art Bash is a festive evening of art, music, lite-bites and strong drinks. Hundreds of anonymous small artworks, each 5×7 inches, are on view until it’s time for the Art Dash & Grab. Artworks are donated by artists from the School of Art, the Lubbock Community, and artists from around the USA. At the time for the Art Dash & Grab attendees will race to select their favorite art pieces. Each piece will be sold at the a set price of $100 each.

Funds raised go to support Art student scholarships.

What is The Medici Circle?

The Medici Circle is a Lubbock community volunteer group supporting School of Art through friends-raising and fund-raising for art scholarships. Since 2005, when the group first formed, the Medici Circle has successfully created or augmented $750,000 in art scholarship endowments.
