This spring, Flatlands Dance Theatre is privileged to honor and lift women up with an evening of dance, story, and song. Wild Woman is a celebration and reclamation of women’s intuition, bodies, voice, and influence. We invite you to witness the stunning choreography of world-renowned guest choreographer and scholar, Jody Sperling of Time Lapse Dance in NYC. Come feel encircled and warmed by the fire of our community women’s vocal ensemble. Come let the dancers and choreographers of FDT take you on a journey through cycles and seasons, tears and laughter, inner healing and howls of communal ascension. Come. Bring your friend, your sister, your mother, your neighbor. Bone by bone, breath by breath, together we will gather and resurrect the Wild Woman.
