Are you a visual artist who believes art can change lives?
The Museum at Texas Tech is launching its Teaching Artist Training Program—and we’re looking for artists ready to grow, experiment, and lead meaningful art experiences in our community.
This multi-day training (June–August 2026) will help you:
Turn your studio practice into engaging lessons
Learn gallery-based facilitation skills
Build community through art
Grow professionally in a supportive cohort
No teaching experience needed. Just curiosity and commitment.
Artists who complete the program may apply for paid, part-time Teaching Artist work with MaTT.
