Humble Cup
The Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts is proud to present Humble Cup, a national juried exhibition. One of the quintessential forms found in ceramics is the simple cup. Using this form, an artist creates a piece that has both a functional purpose along with displaying their particular artistic vision. LHUCA is assembling a juried exhibition aimed at investigating the range that is found in the simple idea of a cup, bridging the ideas of craft and fine art. LHUCA’s objective for this exhibition is to showcase the greatest diversity of what a humble cup can be.
Entry Fee: $25 for up to three entries. Artists may submit two images per artwork per entry.
