Join us on Saturday, June 24th for the exciting Finals Round of LHUCA’s 5th annual West Texas Battle of the Bands competition! The competition will take place at 6 PM in the LHUCA Plaza.

The night will feature pre-show performances from the 2022 winner and runner-up, Strawberry Season and Indego. Following the pre-show, the final 4 competitors will each perform a 15 minute set in front of a panel of judges who will determine the 2023 winner and runner up.

Admission for the finale on June 24: adults are $5 and kids under 12 are free!

LHUCA’s West Texas Battle of the Bands is a competition that takes a single, original, track submission from bands consisting of two or more members of any genre. A panel of judges will select 8 semi-finalists to move into a public voting round during June First Friday Art Trail. The 4 top voted bands will move into Finals Round where they will perform a 15 minute public set. Judges will select the second and first place winners in a live competition on Saturday, June 24th, 2023.
