Lubbock’s Cultural District has been officially designated and recognized by the Texas Commission on the Arts and is one of 35 in the state of Texas. This program is made possible in part through a grant from the City of Lubbock, as recommended by Civic Lubbock, Inc. The Lubbock Cultural District is supported by the CH Foundation and is managed by the Lubbock Arts Alliance.

Lubbock Cultural District
The Lubbock Cultural District is anchored by key cultural facilities including the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts and Lubbock Memorial Civic Center to the north; Wells Fargo Amphitheater and American Wind Power Center to the east; Buddy Holly Center and the Depot Entertainment District to the south; and Municipal Auditorium and Coliseum and Texas Tech University to the west.
