If you would like to participate there is a $275.00 fee for entry.  Otherwise it is free to come and walk around.  Saturday’s lunch is $15.00. 

Join us at Raider Red Meats as we host our annual Raider Red Meats BBQ & Ribeye Cook-Off Championship!  KCBS Sanctioned, Texas State Championship, $18,000.00 in cash & prizes, payout to top 15 teams in each category. 

Friday’s events:

12:00pm – 5:00pm:  Cook team check-in, meat inspection will be done at check-in
6:00pm:  Raider Rumble  OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
Watch 4 pit masters go head 2 head in a steak cook-off.  Competitors:  Chris Chadwick, Robert Sierra, Sterling Smith and Boomerang BBQ   $1,000.00 winner takes all   Animal and Food Science Livestock Arena on the TTU campus
7:00pm:  KCBS cook’s meeting in Meat Lab 100
7:00pm:  Sponsor appreciation dinner & concert in Animal & Food Science Arena
11:00pm – 7:00am

10:00am – 12:30pm:  Free BBQ Demo & Tasting  OPEN TO THE PUBLIC  $15.00 BBQ Buffet Lunch to follow
10:30AM:  KCBS Judge’s meeting
12:00pm:  KCBS Chicken turn-in
12:30pm:  KCBS Ribs turn-in
1:00pm:  KCBS Pork turn-in
1:30pm:  KCBS Brisket turn-in
4:00pm:  KCBS Awards  OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
