Salsa Competitor and Vendor Entry ($60)

• Only one (1) salsa entry per vendor for the competition allowed however, you may sell as many types of salsa as you please,

• Competition will be best overall salsa – “Best Salsa in Lubbock” – so bring the best you can make!

  • Best Salsa Prize: $300 & $100 Two Docs Gift Card & $50 Mijo’s Gift Certificate

  • Runner-Up Prize: $150 & $50 Two Docs Gift Card & $25 Mijo’s Gift Certificate

  • People’s Choice: $100 Two Docs Gift Card

Salsa Competitor & Vendor’s will be provided:

• 2 Bags of Chips for tasting: Provided by El Molino Tortillas

• 10’X10’ Vendor Spot

The requirements of being a Salsa Competitor & Vendor and what you will be responsible for providing:

• ALL SALSA COMPETITORS & VENDORS WILL BE REQUIRED TO HAVE ALL APPLICABLE PERMITS PRIOR TO AND AT THE EVENT

  • Vendors will be required to have a copy of their Food Handlers Permit, readily available,

  • Salsa Competitors will need to provide at least one (1) gallon of salsa for tasting to the public.

    • Salsa must be separated into 1 oz. plastic containers for sampling event,

• Salsa Competitors will be required to practice FOOD SAFETY GUIDELINES (please check with the City of Lubbock – Environmental Health).

• Salsa Competitors are allowed and encouraged to sell their salsa by the jar

  • Please follow all labeling guidelines per state and local laws

• 10’X10’ Tent with tie downs (2 Docs Brewing Co. LLC. will not provide water tanks, tie downs, etc. to secure your tent),

• Table (recommended 6-8 foot),

• Table Cloth (if applicable),

• Professional Set Up

• Branded Content (products, tent, cloth, etc.).
