Civic Lubbock, Inc. is now taking applications for their Local Grant Program for the 2022/2023 fiscal year.

Civic Lubbock, Inc. is excited to announce that $75,000 has been allocated for the 2022/2023 Local Grant Program.  Net revenues generated from the operation of concessions at the Civic Center and Moonlight Musicals Amphitheatre and from the operation of Select-a-Seat as well as revenues received from Civic Center Catering Commissions are used to help fund this Grant Program.

The purpose of the Local Grant Program is to assist arts, cultural and entertainment events presented by local 501(c) 3 non-profit organizations (or government equivalents). Events must be available and open to the public and must take place in the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center or the Moonlight Musicals Amphitheatre.

The funding period for the 2022/2023 Local Grant Program is for events that will take place between October 1, 2022 and September 30, 2023.

If you plan to request funds for an arts, cultural or entertainment event that will be held in the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center or the Moonlight Musicals Amphitheatre during FY 2022/2023, please review the Local Grant Program Guidelines before preparing your grant application to make sure that your event fits the criteria as outlined in the Guidelines.  The Local Grant Guidelines, the Local Grant Application and the Event Budget forms are available for download on the Civic Lubbock, Inc. website.  For more information and to download the guidelines and application forms, this link will take you directly to the Local Grant Program page of the website:    https://civiclubbock.org/local-grant/

The deadline to submit applications and required attachments is no later than 5:00pm on Friday, April 1, 2022. Early submissions are very helpful and appreciated. Late applications  will not be considered.

Please note that we generally get more funding requests than we have funds available, so please take that into consideration when developing your funding request.
