Join Viviana Ziegner, an upcoming senior at Lubbock High School, for an introduction to the jazz style of dance! This fun lesson is for middle school students who are interested in learning the basics of dance. Students will play movement games, learn basic techniques, and will perform a combo of beginners jazz movements at the end of the lesson.

Students should wear movement clothes/athletic clothes, can wear jazz shoes or tennis shoes, and bring water.

A note from the instructor:
Hello! I am Viviana Ziegner, an incoming senior at Lubbock High school. I have been studio dancing since the age of four at The Dance Gallery Lubbock and am now a member of all the competition teams, as well as the Senior Pointe Company. I have always had such a deep passion for dance and the desire to share that with other young dancers throughout my community. I have been involved with LHUCA through opportunities such as First Friday Art Trail, the annual Celebrating the Arts Gala, community service and more. I am extremely grateful for the leadership skills I have had the privilege to build through LHUCA and can not wait to continue to serve my community through this wonderful organization.
