This presentation will explore Lubbock in the 1920s, outlining notable musical entertainment options available, focusing on the work by women to expand concerts and educational opportunities. Texas Tech’s founding and music organizations led to special programming and guest artists who travelled to the South Plains to entertain West Texans.
