There will be live music from the House Musician Que Johnson and WTDR ENT. Tyrone Jones better known as “Ty The Jeweler” will also be back with his hand crafted jewelry. Lastly, the beautiful and wonderfully talented Monica G. Dix “The Poetess” will grace you all with some rhyme and reason.
We will also have various art pieces by local artists that can be purchased.
Open mic events are somewhat related to jam sessions, in that, in both cases, amateur performers are given the opportunity to speak, sing, or play instruments. Please know we are allowing any Poets, Rappers, Singers and Musicians to have the freedom to express themselves through their talents, and we will not stifle their work. The performers will be asked to give the audience advance notice of any sensitive subject matter.
