The BurkTech Players will be presenting an abridged, contemporary rendition of Babes in Toyland as part of LHUCA’s Firehouse Presents program! Babes in Toyland is set near the holidays, featuring some of your favorite fairytale/nursery rhyme characters. The story focuses on a miserly Barnaby who has his sights set on Contrary Mary, a heroine, who has made it clear she does not want to marry him. This story takes us on a journey through evil schemes, a toymaker who may or may not be sinister, evil henchmen, violent toys, and a will to fight for what you believe in!
