The CH Foundation Metals Studio & Foundry Fellowships at CASP

Interest in The CH Foundation Metals Studio & Foundry has grown steadily, creating a demand for additional open studio hours and oversight. We have also recognized a need for professional development opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students as well as budding artists. Classes offered at the Metals Studio & Foundry include: metal fabrication; welding; blacksmithing; kinetic sculpture; and bronze and aluminum sculpture. Area artists also utilize our Metals facilities for commissioned projects. Fellows are expected to: maintain open studio hours; facilitate creative processes of class participants; oversee safety of individuals and maintenance of equipment; lead classes and workshops; develop community engagement projects; and promote Metals Studio & Foundry activities to the public.
