Essential Duties and Responsibilities – Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Assist in the training and supervision of the Operations crews in implementation of all aspects of the preparation and recovery process including forklift and high lift certifications.
* Ability to lead the operations crew to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
* Responsible for completion of assigned work orders through management of part-time and full-time operations crew.
* Assures facility readiness and smooth operation of events.
* Assist with general maintenance of the building.
* Assist with and supervise custodial functions.
* Follow the preventative maintenance program, energy management program, and standard operations procedures for all machinery and equipment.
* Promote a safe working environment for all employees by following the life safety and emergency program as needed. Participating member of the Facility Safety Team.
* Responsible for setting an example for the changeover crew.
* Maintain confidentiality at all times.
* Demonstrates continuous effort to improve facility operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
* Implement facility rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
* Implement & facilitate organization of all warehouse space.
* Anticipate problems and appropriate solutions. Make Operations Manager aware immediately when policies and procedures are not being followed.
* Provide clear, concise, and timely communication of directives to crew.
* Other duties assigned by the Operations Manager/leadership team.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Assists in the supervision of operations crews or subcontractors.
Responsibilities include training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required and a minimum of one (1) years’ experience performing building operations in an entertainment facility with a demanding schedule along with one (1) year supervisory experience.

Skills and Abilities
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
* Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons and other encountered in the course of employment.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Working knowledge of custodial best practices.
* Ability to effectively provide leadership.
* Professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic.
* Ability to work with limited supervision and as a team member.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours as needed.
