Lubbock Economic Development Alliance seeks a Director of Recruitment who possesses a strong sales and marketing background with a dynamic, strategic, and professional expertise. Responsibilities of this position include identification and prospect development, with ultimate
purpose of creating jobs in Lubbock.

This position manages and leads the business recruitment department and works in collaboration with existing organizations, stakeholders, investors, companies, and site selectors to identify and develop job producing investments by business prospects. This individual will work with prospects of various types and sizes, aggressively pursuing regional, national, and international business recruitment and retention efforts. Must be able to travel extensively, work in a motivated, fast-paced environment, and manage a multitude of projects of varying complexity and duration.

Bachelor’s Degree required in business administration, marketing, public administration, economics, or related field. Relevant sales experience required. Economic Development Institute course completion and/or economic development sales experience preferred.
