Free and open to the public.

Dino Day is a FUN and FREE event for the whole family. There will be:

• “Tyrannosaur Tails”: Make a wearable dinosaur tail
• “Dino Disguise”: Color a dinosaur mask
• “Puppet Pals”: Make a dinosaur puppet (and put on your own puppet play in our puppet theater)
• “Awesome Origami”: Make a dinosaur corner bookmark using simple origami
• “Fossil Fun”: Make a trace “fossil” magnet using clay
• “Dino Dig”: Pretend to be a paleontologist by “excavating” toys in a sandbox
• “Dino Egg Hunt”: Find 7 giant eggs hidden throughout the event space to spell out the punchline to a joke
• “Triceratoss”: Themed ring toss (try to toss the rings on the triceratops’ horns)
• “Feed the Dinosaurs”: Themed bean bag toss (toss the bean bags into the dinosaur’s open mouth)
Planetarium Shows:
• Free, dinosaur-themed
• NOTE: Limited Seating!
• Tours of the dinosaur gallery led by a real paleontologist
• See and touch real fossils
Live Birds:
• Meet and Greet with live raptor birds from the South Plains Wildlife Rehabilitation Center
• NOTE: Will only be there from approx. 1-3pm
• Scavenger Hunt: Everyone that completes the scavenger hunt will be entered to win a prize
• Puppet Theater: Everyone who films their performance and posts that film on Instagram with the appropriate hashtags will be entered to win a prize
• Exclusive Dino Day stickers: First 2000 guests
• Chocolate and vanilla thumbprint cookies
• NOTE: While supplies last
