Submit your entry for the Like Father, Like Son Art Show at East Lubbock Art House!

You may submit up to three entries relating around fatherhood. The juror for this art competition and showcase is Chris Marin. Chris Marin @thechrismarin is an artist and art professor at Louisiana State University. Marin received his BFA in Painting and Drawing from Texas Tech University and his Master’s in Fine Art in the concentration of Painting from the California College of the Arts.

Artworks selected as competition winners will receive:

Best of Show: $250

1st Place: $150

2nd Place: $100

Theme: Please submit artworks relating around the theme of “fatherhood”. This theme can be loosely related around fathers, yourself as a father, your relationship with your father, manhood, masculinity, and family.

If your work is accepted, you will be notified by June 5th. This is the application to submit your entries for consideration. Our juror will select which works will be included in the showcase and you will be notified of the dates and times to drop off your artwork.

Other Details Regarding Artwork Submission:

-Artworks submitted must be under 6 ft in any direction.

-If your artwork is selected, the artist will be responsible for covering shipping/handling of your artwork to and from East Lubbock Art House.
