Entry Fees: $15 per entry or $40 for 3, with a maximum of 3 entries.
WTWS RED Show is open to all WTWS members. Dues of $40 for 2022-2023 should be paid up at the time for eligibility.

Judging: All patrons of the show may vote for the “People’s Choice” monetary awards. Other awards may be possible. There will be no categories for this show.

Show Guidelines: Original 2D art pieces of any drawing and painting mediums (water media, pastels, oils, pen and ink, graphite and colored pencils, encaustics, collage, etc.), but the major color or feel of each piece must be RED. Original 3D art pieces (pottery, metal, stone, wood, etc.) but the major color or feel of each piece must be RED and no larger than 48” or 50 lbs. (No photography or computer generated artwork please.) The art piece does not have to be a new piece, although we strongly encourage new work. It’s okay if you’ve entered the piece in a judged show before, but please no pieces that have been exhibited at Garden & Arts Center before. Because the RED show is not an artist-judged show, you may enter the pieces in a judged show later, if they meet all that show’s qualifications. (Ready to hang please and no sawtooth hangers.)
All works must hang for the duration of the show.

Art for the RED show is for sale at the artist’s discretion. Garden & Arts Center will receive 30% commission on sales. Artist is responsible for state sales tax. Selling artists must provide their Sales Tax ID # during registration. (Sales using WTWS Tax ID # is an option if the artist does not have a Sales Tax ID # and wishes to sell.) Please bring the Exhibit Entry Form and Labels along with your entry fee check when you register on November 30th. If you do not wish to sell your art, please check the “NFS” blank for that piece(s).

Art Check-in: Wednesday, November 30th, 10 am – 2 pm, at the Garden & Arts Center (No late entries) (artists with schedule conflicts may send their art and entry materials with someone else or call Martha and Nancy for alternate arrangements.) Hand-delivered vs. Shipped Art Local artists are responsible for delivery of their artwork to Garden & Arts Center for installation and for picking up at the
conclusion of the exhibition, per the specific dates and times noted in the Calendar of Events.

WTWS and Garden & Arts Center cannot receive hand-delivered art before the drop-off window of Wednesday, November 30th between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and are not responsible for the secure storage of art not picked up during the pickup window of Monday, February 20 & Tuesday, February 21, 2023, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
All artworks should have Artist Name, Title, Medium and phone on back of delivered work.

Remote members, Please include the Exhibit Entry Form and Labels along with your entry fee check when you ship your art via Fed Ex or UPS or your preferred shipper directly to Garden & Arts Center to arrive by the deadline of Wednesday, November 30th but no earlier than Monday, November 28th. All shipping costs including providing the return shipping label with artwork are the sole responsibility of the artist. You are encouraged to insure your art when shipping.

WTWS and Garden & Arts Center will not be responsible for damage incurred prior to reaching Garden & Arts Center. Your artwork will be repacked, and return shipped as received, employing the same shipping materials provided by the artist.

Art Pick-up after show: Beginning Monday, February 20 & Tuesday, February 21, 2023, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. (Check in with GAC staff)

WTWS, Garden & Arts Center and their representatives will not be responsible for loss or damage to any painting submitted. Each entrant must assume liability and insurance for their artworks.
