CALL FOR ACTORS   ***new***

The 2019 WildWind Performance Lab (WWPL) of the School of Theatre & Dance at Texas Tech is looking for local Lubbock actors to participate in weeklong developmental readings of new plays this summer. No pay, but an opportunity to connect with exciting emerging theatre artists from around the country.

WWPL will run June 3-28, 2019. Casting breakdowns are below.

Black Girl, Interrupted by LyaNisha Gonzalez – this play rehearses in the afternoons

Riley – 30s-40s, female, African-American
Sasha – 19, female, African-American

Rock Egg Spoon by Noah Diaz – this play will also rehearse in the afternoons

Female, deaf, late teens to play 12 or so
Male, Native American, 20s

Seneca Falls by JeanAnn Douglass

Teens/20s, female, African-American

These ages are fairly fluid (students could conceivably play both)
