Oil painting does not have to be intimidating! In this class, students will learn information about oil paint, mediums and solvents, color mixing and layering. They will learn how to grid up and paint from their own photo, taking an image from a light drawing on the canvas to a finished oil painting in 4 sessions. These tools and techniques are helpful to those with no previous painting experience as well as those looking to try some new painting tricks. The instructor will send an emailed supply list once students have signed up for the class. All materials will be available locally or online. CASP will provide table top easels, 16 x 20 canvases, solvents/containers.
