Dawmi Entertainment is excited to announce auditions for our 2023 season!

When you arrive at auditions, you will have the option to choose specific shows and roles you would like to audition for, or you can audition for any or all shows with no role specified.

Auditions will consist of readings from the script(s). You are welcome to bring a resume, and prepare a monologue if you wish; however, neither are required.

The Thin Place
A play by Lucas Hnath In cooperation with Samuel French
Directed by Michelle Wasiuta
The thin place is a place where the line between this world and another one is very thin; where the living and the dead can reconnect. Hilda was never all that sure that the things she could hear were real, until she met Linda, who can talk to the dead.
Notes: The Thin Place contains adult language

The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance
A play by Jethro Compton based on the short story by Dorothy Johnson, in cooperation with Samuel French
Directed by David Mitchell
Journey into the Wild West in this classic story of good versus evil, law versus the gun, and one man versus Liberty Valance. A tale of love, hope, and revenge set against the vicious backdrop of a lawless society.
Notes: The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance contains adult language and racial elements that were indicative of the time and setting of the play

Amadeus
A play by Peter Shaffer in cooperation with Concord Theatricals
Directed by David Mitchell
A reimagining of the lives of Antonio Salieri and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The play is brought to life with the music of Mozart, and is a tale of jealousy and betrayal…and perhaps even murder.
Notes: Amadeus contains adult language and adult content
