Join us this weekend for music studen, Alex Zhang’s piece, Zephyr.

Durations Trio (Annie Chalex Boyle, Kevin Wass, and Susan Wass, all faculty and staff in the Texas Tech University School of Music) will present a world premiere of new music written by Texas Tech University Music Composition student Alex Zhang who is a student of Dr. Jennifer Jolley. The piece is inspired by a work in the Texas Tech University Public Art Program and will be presented on-site at the artwork. Audience members must wear masks if social distancing is not possible. More concerts will be scheduled in the fall semester, featuring student works from all of the composition studios at TTU.
Zephyr, by Marc Fornes, is next to the Honors Residence Hall on the northwest side of campus. Please park in Z6 (the Honors Residence dorm lot). We were asked to park in the student parking spaces – not the employee parking spaces or 24- hour spaces.
