Texas Tech School of Art presents the 2024 Texas Ceramics Symposium hosted at the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts.
During this event, nationally recognized ceramic artists and scholars will present public lectures and demonstrations to attendees from Texas Tech University and across Texas.

Registration availible at the door; some events remain open to the public.

Viewing – Tatsuki Hoshihara’s earth work Antigravity
Hoshihara constructed the earth work in November 2023. Working dawn to dusk for several weeks, the artist excavated 433 wheelbarrow loads of dirt and caliche rock entirely by hand.
