United Supermarkets presents the award-winning Lubbock Arts Festival, April 15-16, 2023, at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center, 1501 Mac Davis Lane. The event includes visual artists from around the nation showing and selling their artwork; performance stages with musicians, actors, and dancers; demonstrating artists; children’s art area; special exhibits and entertainment. The Lubbock Arts Festival is the marquee project of the Lubbock Arts Alliance, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the creation, understanding, and enjoyment of the arts. General Admission – Skip the line! Buy your admission tickets in advance. No service fee! $5 for adults, children 12 and under FREE when accompanied by a paid adult.

“Friends of the Festival” Package – $50 includes 4 (four) general admission passes, VIP Parking Pass in lower lot (not handicapped accessible) & voucher for commemorative poster signed by Featured Artist.

“VIP Festival” Package – $100 includes 4 (four) general admission passes, VIP Parking Pass (not handicapped accessible), 2 (two) ticket to Pablo Aslan & TTU Tango Orchestra concert, & voucher for commemorative poster signed by Featured Artist.

The Lubbock Arts Festival is a project of the Lubbock Arts Alliance, a non-profit organization. The event is funded by donations, sponsorships, and grants. Please help us keep the Lubbock Arts Festival a tradition for our community by giving an additional $1 donation.

Opening Ceremony & Premiere Night

Market Street presents the “Opening Ceremony & Premiere Night” for the 45th Annual Lubbock Arts Festival on Friday, April 14, 2023, Lubbock Memorial Civic Center, 1501 Mac Davis Lane. The evening will begin with an Opening Ceremony honoring Maines Brothers Band as “Champions of the Arts” and continue with Premiere Night highlighting Featured Artist, Carol Flueckiger, 100 visual artists from around the nation showing and selling their work, Demonstrating Artists, Juried Gallery, special exhibits and performances.

Lubbock Lights: Maines Brothers Band – Bloodlines

All the original members of The Maines Brothers Band back together for a one-night only concert playing favorite hits including “Break the Fall” and “Amarillo Highway.” Presented by the Texas Tech University Presidential Lecture & Performance Series. Complimentary entry to the Lubbock Arts Festival included with ticket purchase.

Argentine-born musician and producer Pablo Aslan is recognized internationally as one of the leading figures in contemporary tango. His discography includes Piazzolla in Brooklyn (2011), and Tango Grill (2009). The latter earned him nominations for a Latin Grammy and a Grammy award. Aslan will be accompanied by the Texas Tech University Tango Orchestra.
